CRICKET MATCH BETWEEN KIMS AND GGIT ON 10 MARCH 2017

Annual Sports meet was organized in KIMS under which outdoor and indoor games were organized by the faculty and students of KIMS and GGIT.
A T-20 Cricket match was organized on 10 March 2017 between KIMS and GGIT at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Cricket Stadium, Unnao.The purpose of the match was to encourage sportsman spirit among the students of KIMS and GGIT which can help them in grooming their personality.
GGIT won the toss and elected to bowl first. After the completion of 20 over KIMS scored 143/10 .
GGIT started their innings and batted really well .Huge extras given by KIMS rolled over the score board quickly. Rain paused the game for 1 hour but once the game resumed the batsman found no difficulty in finishing the game with a win. Cricket Commentary by Jeetu Rajput and Kajal Gupta was really hilarious and fun filled.
The award ceremony took place and winning trophy was given to the Captain of the winning Team GGIT Ahmer Ali (BBA 2nd Year)by Shri Anil Verma.The captain of the losing team Sameer Singh received the runner up trophy by Dr.P.N.Bajpai,Director KIMS.It was a proud moment for all the faculty members of KIMS and GGIT . Man of the match was GGIT Vice Captain Shubham Kumar (BCA 3rd Year) who took 4 wickets and scored 30 runs. Arjun Singh from KIMS scored 43 runs and Vipin Kumar took 3 wickets.Abhishek Trivedi from KIMS won the Table Tennis match from GGIT.
Shri Anil Verma focused on participation over winning and wished that KIMS and GGIT should win in even turns for healthy competition.
Dr.P.N Bajpai in his concluding speech congratulated the winners and supported the runner up. He in his speech focused on active participation and appealed for always keep on doing good work for achieving success. The vote of thanks was given by the Event coordinator and Dean Prof.Altaf Qaiyum.The whole event ended successfully leaving smiles on the faces of all and imprinting sense of achievement and participation in the minds of students.
